At Speech Ease, all our staff are trained, dedicated Speech Pathologists registered with Speech Pathology Australia. We have a variety of backgrounds and special interest areas and each team member is allocated to their patients according to their specific needs and family requirements.

Cheryl Ye - Principal Speech Pathologist

Cheryl Ye is an experienced Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with a strong belief in using a child and family centred approach to help children communicate effectively. Cheryl received her B.A. (Linguistics) from the University of Melbourne, and an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from San Diego State University in California, U.S.A.

Aiwee Chuah - Senior Speech Pathologist

Aiwee Chuah received her Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne, and is a Certified Practicing Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping families and children achieve their speech, language and communication goals. She has worked extensively with pre-school children presenting with articulation and language difficulties in numerous settings, including a children's hospital, community health and Early Children Intervention Services. She is experienced working with children with Autism and dyslexia.

Aimee Joy - Senior Speech Pathologist

Aimee Joy holds a Master degree in Speech Language Pathology and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has over 10 years’ clinical experience as a speech pathologist, working with toddlers, pre-schoolers and school-aged children. Aimee loves working with children and their families set and achieve their communication goals. In particular, she likes to include parents and carers in therapy sessions so that they know how best to implement home practice and assist their child’s progress.

Emily Lim - Speech Pathologist

Emily is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). Since then, she has worked with children and adults in a number of clinics, schools, preschools and homes.

She is trained in using the Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD) communication system as a means of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Key Word Sign, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and has experience with using the Spalding method for literacy

Amy Smith - Speech Pathologist

Amy Smith is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University. She has experience working with primary and secondary school children presenting with various language difficulties and communication needs. She has particular experience working with children with complex communication needs including children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome.

Robyn Pereira - Client Support and Practice Manager

Robyn Pereira is our amazing Admin and Client Support Officer who is hard at work ensuring that the ‘behind the scenes’ of our office run smoothly.

Robyn has extensive experience in executive support and office management roles, she is  highly organised and attentive to detail. She ensures that our processes and procedures are followed to allow our therapist to focus on their clients. She is also often assisting parents and the reception team by answering their queries, and if required will research so she can find the answers!  

Robyn is a Mum of two young children and understands how daunting appointments / some journeys can be. She is passionate about making every visitor to our clinic feel supported.
